In 5 Years…

In five years, I can’t believe I’ll be 26—it’s crazy to think about! But honestly, that’s where I believe my life will really just be getting started. By then, I hope to be somewhat settled in a career at a well-known company, doing what I love most: pro-social marketing. My goal is to be part of something that allows me to travel, meet and network with more people than I can even imagine, and continue working toward meaningful impact on a global scale.

As I come closer to graduating this upcoming January, I’m excited to see what I can create by blending my communication and marketing experiences. I also hope to have built a strong online presence by then, where people can get to know me in a more professional way and see the work I’m passionate about.

Another big goal of mine is to be stress-free from student loans, so I can give back to my parents and older sister, who have always done so much for me. It would be such a meaningful accomplishment to provide for them, especially after all their support while I was growing up.

On a personal level, I want to continue maintaining my health. I’ve taken action this past summer to become healthier, and being five months post-op now is a big part of that journey. I’m also becoming more career-driven and hope to strike the right work-life balance, though I’d love to retire early (still figuring out that part of life!).

Lastly, I’d love to continue taking risks. I hope to get my motorcycle license/endorsement and save up for a cruiser bike, as well as improving my cooking skills (without burning anything this time!). Taking after my parents is something I cherish, and I want to keep challenging myself every step of the way.
